Empower rural women to help achieve the ”zero hunger” goal!

November 17, 2021

Young women in rural India are constrained by limited access to knowledge and economic opportunities. At the same time, women food producers, who have been hit hard by climate change and COVID-19, need information on resilient natural farming practices. Unless strong efforts are urgently made to empower aspiring young women and marginalised women food producers to fully participate in rural transformation, it will be difficult to lift them out of poverty and achieve the "zero hunger" goal.

How can we empower these women? Phil Malone, Communications Specialist at Access Agriculture, explains to Savitri Mohapatra a new campaign launched to help rural women  and requests listeners to generously contribute to this noble cause.

Lift them out of poverty and help achieve the "zero hunger" goal!!!
